Position Title: Community Homeownership Specialist

Business Unit: Mortgage Administration

Reports to: Manager of Centralized Sales and Support

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible identifying regulatory compliant residential mortgage loans with a focus on LMI borrowers and CRA census tract areas. The incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with Bank branches, Realtors, builders, minority trade groups, community/faith-based groups and local housing/counseling agencies. The incumbent counsels customers on solutions to their lending needs, provides excellent customer service, supports all key channel initiatives, conducts sales activities and achieves community service/production goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintains active involvement in community-based groups, local housing agencies and community partners, NAHREP, NAREB and AREAA, non-profit organizations, community development corps and neighborhood revitalization entities. Identifies community programs, such as DPAPS, grants, bonds, Forgivable 2nd Mortgages, etc. Submits programs to Mortgage Operations for approval.

Builds relationships with internal and external referral sources in Core CRA markets through key sales strategies and activities to achieve expected CRA performance goals. Serves as a liaison to all lines of business partners through attending meetings. Promotes referrals utilizing the FNB Customer Onboarding Process. Partners with mortgage loan officers for LMI and MMCT lending.

Conducts and coordinates Homebuyer Workshops (virtual and in person), Financial Literacy Seminars and other related education programs acting as the subject matter expert for the corporation.

Counsels customers on lending options with FNB to meet their needs. Actively manages customer opportunities and directs loan opportunities to the Centralized Sales MBR partner.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Pay Range:
$70,746.00 - $117,884.00
