Title: Community Coordinator, Child and Youth Wellness
Salary: $68,263 - $ 85,328 - $93,861 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am- 4pm - Hybrid an option
Location: Stz'uminus or the Sidney Office -Travel within Coast Salish Territory is required, with some potential for travel in Nuu-chah-nulth Territory

About the role
As part of a regional team, the Youth Wellness Facilitator responds to community needs and supports the development of child and youth wellness initiatives. This role is responsible for designing and delivering engaging workshops, presentations, and educational programming focused on youth mental health, wellness, and life promotion. The successful candidate will have experience coordinating and implementing community-driven health promotion and education initiatives, building strong relationships with community partners, and collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups. A solid understanding of First Nations cultural principles, protocols, and Indigenous approaches to wellness is essential, along with the ability to apply an Indigenous wellness lens when working with youth. Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills are key to success in this role.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be

Education
• Bachelor's degree in social work, Child and Youth Care, or Psychology, plus one (1) to two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Three (3) to four (4) years of experience preferred.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
