Overview:

The Communications Manager leads day-to-day communications that keep teammates informed, engaged, and aligned with organizational priorities. This role develops and distributes content across multiple channels, including company updates, leadership messages, and digital platforms, while ensuring clarity, consistency, and timeliness. The manager partners with cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into effective messaging, equips leaders with communication tools and talking points, and maintains an organized communications calendar. The role also aligns internal and external messaging to reinforce the organization's brand, values, and strategic objectives across all audiences.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
• Manage and execute day-to-day communications across all channels, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and timely.
• Develop and distribute communications, including company updates, leadership messages, and key announcements for teammates.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into effective, easy-to-understand messaging.
• Support leaders with communication tools, talking points, and guidance to drive alignment and consistency.
• Maintain and manage the communications calendar, ensuring proper planning, sequencing, and visibility of key messages.
• Oversee content creation for digital platforms (intranet, email, video, etc.) to drive engagement and understanding.
• Ensure alignment and consistency between internal and external messaging to reinforce brand and strategic priorities.
• Establish standards, templates, and processes that improve communication quality and efficiency.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and engagement, making recommendations to improve reach and impact.
• Support organizational initiatives and change efforts through clear, structured communication plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, manage feedback, and ensure messaging reflects business needs and priorities.
• Uphold the organization's voice, tone, and values across all communications.
• Plan and execute public events, such as community engagement initiatives or sponsorships.
• Support company meeting collateral including town halls and leadership meetings.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Write and edit clear, compelling content for speaking points, speeches, internal communications, and social media.
• Present information effectively to diverse audiences.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with media representatives, stakeholders, and internal teams.
