Full Job Description
Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated communications professional to help drive forward key initiatives related to communications within the organization and with outside audiences. In this role, you will set strategy and own execution for high-impact programs, serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, and help build new communications initiatives that strengthen our employee experience and amplify our brand.

You will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of internal communications strategies across channels and formats (company newsletter, Intranet, emails, video) as well as outreach strategies involving proactive media engagement, thought leadership, key message development, etc.
  • Build comprehensive, multi-audience communications plans for company announcements, organizational changes and business updates, partnering with senior leaders to ensure clarity, consistency and impact
  • Lead senior leadership messaging initiatives, particularly within our Engineering organization, acting as a thought partner on narrative development, town hall remarks, all-hands content, and broader leadership visibility.
  • Lead the strategic direction and ongoing evolution of the company intranet as Two Sigma's primary internal communications channel, including governance, content strategy and measurement
  • Identify and act on opportunities to connect internal and external communications efforts, ensuring our internal narrative is reflected in our external brand and vice versa
  • Design and produce small and large-scale events such as Town Halls and employee engagement moments, from concept through execution
  • Develop and implement mechanisms to gather, analyze and act on employee feedback, using insights to continuously improve our communications approach
  • Partner closely with HR on critical communications around employee programs and complete employee experience campaigns
  • Play a significant role on large-scale Marketing & Communications projects, including Investor Day, and mentor junior team members on craft and project execution
  • Bring an external perspective passionate about current events to the company, ensuring real-world AI and tech developments help inform strategy


You should possess the following qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of communications experience, with experience handling and accomplishing internal and executive communications programs
  • Experience in technology or AI space a plus
  • In-house experience preferred, though leading-PR agency experience to be considered
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing or the humanities, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience advising and writing for senior executives, with a track record of building trust and influencing at the leadership level
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives
  • Proven ability to navigate sensitive and confidential projects with discretion and sound judgment
  • Strong relationship-building abilities, accompanied by a background in managing multiple senior collaborators and cross-functional partners
  • Experience leading the design and execution of employee-facing events, from town halls to large-scale moments
  • Familiarity with multi-channel and online solutions for communications, including intranet platforms, email tools and analytics
  • A self-starter who can set strategy, establish and meet deadlines, work under pressure and prioritize competing responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with experience leading projects end-to-end and managing vendors or junior contributors
  • Creativity, strong critical thinking and a bias toward action
  • Intellectually inquisitive and eager to explore and implement data-driven and innovative solutions

The base pay for this role will be between $125,000 and $175,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
