Overview

Job Title: Communications-Electronics Manager, Beale

Contract: SSPARS

Location: Beale AFB, CA

FLSA Status: Exempt

Minimum Qualification:

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or five years' experience in Phased Array Radar and Communications-Electronics O&M.

The Communications-Electronics Maintenance (CEM) Manager is directly responsible for planning, managing and directing the overall activities of the IT/SATCOM Section, Information System Security Officer, Contractor Special Security Representative, Computer, Radar, and Supply work centers as well as the System Security and Documentation Administrator. The management objectives directly complement all work center tasks including logistics supervision necessary to meet the site's operational requirements. Major emphasis is to ensure contractor controlled availability rates meet or exceed Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements; site reporting is accomplished flawlessly, and critical system failures are rapidly and accurately reported, and quickly resolved.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages and directs work center activities in support of operational requirements.
  • Supervises all requirements and space surveillance support functions to satisfactory performance levels.
  • Assist in analysis of system outages and operations degradations.
  • Ensure mission communications availability, operations, maintenance, and performance analyses are performed.
  • Assist in failure degradation analysis and develop corrective actions to prevent further operational degradation.
  • Provides guidance and supervision to the comm logistics and supply.
  • Acts as site POC for Deport Level Maintenance (UDLM, EDLM, EA, and TA) events.


SUPERVISION:
  • Responsibilities for Work of Others: Supervises approximately 30 employees.
  • Supervision Received: Works under the general supervision of the Site Manager.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Physical Tasks: Exerts limited physical energy. May have to handle 20-30 pound loads on occasion.
  • Working Conditions: Normal office environment. May work extended hours or weekends. May travel.

CLEARANCE REQUIERMENTS:
  • Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
  • Employment and start date are contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance


Pay Range

Starting from USD $130,000.00/Yr.
