Full Job Description
Meta is seeking a highly motivated Communications Strategist and digital media expert to bring our stories to life through compelling visual content. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about storytelling, especially visual storytelling, understands culture, brings a strong creative eye, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual should have a track record of producing smart strategy, using analytics to inform strategy shifts, and producing high-quality content - from concept through final edit - and working cross-functionally across communications, marketing and partners.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce content that advances Meta's reputation and tells amazing stories about our products and their impact on people
• Create a channel strategy to bring our stories to life
• Use analytics to inform strategy and adjust as needed
• Manage end-to-end video production including concept development, shooting, editing, color correction, sound design and motion graphics
• Capture compelling footage at press events, executive appearances, product launches and other company moments - often on tight turnarounds
• Create short-form and long-form content optimized for owned, earned and social channels
• Work directly with senior executives and spokespeople to produce video content that supports campaigns and key narratives
• Collaborate across multiple functions including communications, engineering, product, marketing and creative on content plans and production schedules
• Build and maintain a library of b-roll, assets and templates that can be leveraged across the team
• Think through integrated content strategies that bring visual storytelling to every channel

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Film, Media Production or related field
• 3+ years of experience in video production, content creation or a related field
• Evidence of leading or significantly contributing to high-impact digital projects, including concept-to-delivery ownership on corporate, brand or editorial content
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience shooting in the field - including live events, interviews and on-location production - with strong camera, lighting and audio skills
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive content plans aligned with organizational goals and communications strategies

Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
