Job Description:
Position Description: The ET Communications Lead & Editor-in-Chief sets the editorial direction, governance standards, and measurement strategy for communications across the Enterprise Technology organization. This role serves as the central editorial steward and operational owner for ET-wide communication channels while partnering with communicators across decentralized teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and consistency. Additionally, this position leads the adoption of modern, AI-enabled communication tools and champions best practices to maximize audience engagement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Serve as Editor-in-Chief for primary ET communication channels, including weekly newsletters, Microsoft Teams, and Viva Engage.
- Establish publishing schedules, curate high-impact content, and enforce quality, voice, and editorial standards.
- Define, document, and maintain communication, visual, and narrative standards aligned with corporate guidelines.
- Own the lifecycle, maintenance, and adoption of the channel-recommendation AI assistant.
- Guide communicators on appropriate channel usage and maintain communication governance standards.
- Pull, validate, and analyze engagement and readership metrics across communication channels.
- Develop executive-level reporting with insights, trends, and recommendations.
- Partner with stakeholders across ET to optimize publishing workflows, reduce communication noise, and improve organizational alignment.

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, editorial management, or internal media channels within a large, matrixed organization.
- Experience establishing editorial guidelines, brand standards, and channel governance models.
- Proven experience optimizing communication networks and publishing workflows.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot.
- Experience analyzing communication and engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with AI tools, prompt refinement, testing, and user adoption.
- Exceptional written and editorial communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior leadership.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
