Requisition SummaryThis position will be responsible for supporting one of two procurement areas. 1) Fuels, oils, gases/greases (FOG), paint and some maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products and services used by PACCAR. This position is located in Bellevue, Washington. 2) Aftermarket purchasing with a focus on electronics and thermal management. This position is located in Bellevue WA, or Renton, Washington.
Job Functions / Responsibilities- Negotiate and manage all aspects of PACCAR's relationship with suppliers, including the commercial and contractual requirements with respect to total cost, quality, delivery, and customer service.
- Identify areas of opportunity to consolidate and streamline purchasing-related activities being conducted at PACCAR divisions.
- Initiate market tests and facilitate supplier selection activities to achieve highest value and service for PACCAR
- Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in reduced product or service cost, improved supply chain performance, and enhanced product and service quality.
- Investigate and implement new technologies, strategic procurement strategies, and logistical opportunities.
- Communicate and conduct meetings and formal presentations with suppliers and PACCAR personnel at all management levels.
- Travel to supplier locations and PACCAR facilities in order to evaluate capabilities, assess processes, investigate new opportunities, improve manufacturing efficiencies, and resolve chronic supply and quality issues.
- Administer long-term supply, development, and warranty agreements.
Qualifications & Skills- Minimum 5 years of purchasing, engineering, operations, or related experience
- Experience with Production or MRO purchasing, manufacturing, and/or supply chain management
- Proven negotiation and strong analytical skills
- Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic
- Demonstrated leadership to accomplish company goals
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, & presentation
- PC skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Ability to develop Return on Investment Analysis
EducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required

Additional Job Board InformationWe carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Commodity Manager is $90,400 - $141,800 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
