The commitment management team leader will lead a regional team of individuals that will be accountable for ensuring the customer commitment by Husky for rigid packaging systems is tracked, communicated and managed, with issues resolved on a timely basis, from quote development to first production at the customer factory.
The leader will ensure that the equipment required date by the customer is defined and communicated by the customer to Husky, the Husky team understands the committed date to the customer for the rigid packaging systems, and the team both proactively identifies and resolves issues during the implementation process so that customer delivery and production expectations are met by the cross-functional Husky team.
Key Responsibilities: Commitment Management Process:
- Ensure that the standardized global commitment management process for quoting, orders, commercial terms, and project management, is followed by all team members of Commitment Management Team.
- Takes immediate action as part of an escalation process: In case a Commitment Management Team Member does escalate any roadblocks that could risk meeting all milestone dates and the customer commitment date. In case of deviation of the project plan, take immediately the lead of all necessary countermeasure actions needed for the achievement of the milestones and CRD (Customer Required Date).
Team Organization:
- Ensure and adjust (if required) an aligned, customer-facing commitment management organization structure within region that manages the end to end process in a standardized manner, with local geographical adjustments for ideal effectiveness
Collaboration Culture:
- Drive and ensure a collaborative and effective cross functional working relationship with Operations, Engineering and Finance for all relevant commitment management accountabilities, where Operations, Engineering and Finance have responsibility for the key activities

Establishes and maintains systems to support and execute the order to commitment delivered process with full transparency to customer and Husky stakeholders. In addition, identifies process deficiencies and difficulties and implements necessary improvements.

- Technical - Understands the products and system components, key inputs to the system design (e.g., preform), understands the impact of application changes on the work plan, impact on commitment and timelines, with the ability to engage subject matter experts at the appropriate time to address the issues and needs of the customer.
