Job Title: Commissioning Process Engineer [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]

Job Location: Lexington, NC

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Lexington, NC $78,208 - $100,878 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Develop detailed technical testing plans for upcoming projects and create detailed test reports for system qualification during commissioning process; Identify and drive the purchase of equipment and tooling required for commissioning; Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Scheduling, Project Management and Quality Management groups to streamline commissioning processes; Provide technical expertise to field service teams; Develop commissioning schedules and track progress against schedule; Develop and implement a training program for Rail commissioning; Mentor Field Service Technicians on commissioning best practices; Contribute and communicate technical feedback to Engineering to drive optimal reliability and maintainability of the product.

Requirements:

Employer will accept a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Commissioning Process Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

Commissioning of Locomotive and Rail Cars.

Counseling, coaching, developing, and motivating an engineering team.

Reading electrical schematics.

Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in rail car systems.

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on electrical components.

Utilizing specialized testing equipment for electrical systems.
