COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

Intro:

Are you ready to work on exciting projects in life sciences / research institutions?

An industry leading Commissioning / Engineering Services Firm is growing. We are recruiting a Mid Level Commissioning Specialist | Engineer who is ready to take on the challenge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) commissioning projects from award to close-out.

Background Profile:
Your area of expertise will include technical competencies in MEP, BAS (Building Automation Systems), BMS (Building Management Systems) and Life Safety Systems related to biomedical research facilities.

In addition, your skills would be:
• Developing / Completing Cx Plans, PFCs and FPTs.
• Systems you have commissioned: AHU's, Boilers, Chillers, DDC Controls, etc.

What Will You Do?
Independently lead and manage building commissioning projects from award to close-out and turnover to client.

You will:

Support client relationships for multiple commissioning projects - develop those relationships over time to have repeat clients.
Support reviews of MEP design documents: drawings and specifications and equipment submittals to ensure owner's project requirements are met.
Review MEP system controls sequences and participate in meetings to clarify and improve the sequences through final version.
Proficiently generate all Cx documentation including commissioning plans, commissioning specifications and commissioning reports using company templates and standards in BlueRithm.
Generate pre-functional checklists (PFC's) using company templates and standards, then perform and document pre-functional checks of installed equipment on site, coordinate, and build rapport with contractors in the process.
Generate Commissioning Issues Reports (CIRs) to document issues and discrepancies discovered on site.
Write system-specific functional performance test scripts from equipment submittals and final control sequences, using company templates and standards.
