Weitzman is seeking an experienced
Commercial Real EstateBroker with expertise in the Dallas-Fort Worth retail market. This real estate veteran will perform all retail leasing activities while identifying and developing a strong network of tenant, broker, and owner relationships.
Responsibilities - Source new tenants and establish relationships within the industry
- Negotiate, analyze and close lease transactions within a portfolio
- Perform market surveys and cold calls
- Develop and distribute marketing packages and materials to potential tenants
- Maintain a thorough understanding of demographics, traffic patterns and market trends
- Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on competitor data and rental rates
- Provide leadership to junior team members
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications - Texas Real Estate License required
- Bachelor's Degree (Business or Real Estate preferred)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in retail leasing with a strong deal sheet
- Experience canvassing and cold calling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Existing industry relationships
- Strong relationship building, negotiation, mathematics, time management and organizational skills
- Exhibit assertiveness, persistence, ambition, good judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Ability to focus on many tasks and requests with competing deadlines
- Proven success in working independently in a high-pressure environment
- Dependable and punctual
