Position Title: Commercial Project Manager/Estimator
Salary: $75,000- $125,000/ Year + Bonus DOE
Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed estimates, bids, and proposals for commercial construction and renovation projects ranging from $250K to $50M
- Perform quantity takeoffs, develop accurate project pricing, and solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids
- Transition awarded projects from estimating into construction, managing budgets, schedules, and cost controls throughout
- Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and trades to manage project communications and resolve issues
- Review change orders, monitor project progress and profitability, and ensure timelines are met
- Visit local job sites as needed to maintain project oversight and client relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors - most work comes from repeat clients
Requirements: - 5+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Hands-on experience with quantity takeoffs, subcontractor bids, and project budgeting
- Solid understanding of construction costs, materials, and labor in a commercial environment
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, or project management software; proficiency in Microsoft Word
- High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus
- General contractor background and/or relevant field experience strongly preferred
