Job Description:

The Forward Deployment Product & Platform Engineer serves as the bridge between business outcomes, product strategy, and enterprise technology platforms. This role partners with business leaders, product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design, build, deploy, and scale platform-based solutions that solve real-world business problems while accelerating product adoption and value realization.

The engineer combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to translate customer and stakeholder needs into scalable product capabilities, reusable platform services, and integrated enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and desired outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements into product features, platform capabilities, and solution architectures.
  • Design and engineer integrations, APIs, data services, AI-enabled capabilities, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to influence product roadmaps based on deployment experience and customer feedback.
  • Drive platform adoption through implementation leadership, onboarding, training, and change enablement.
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, reliability, scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Leverage DevSecOps, observability, and automation practices to accelerate delivery and improve service quality.
  • Identify opportunities to industrialize and standardize capabilities across products, platforms, and business functions.
  • Measure business value, user adoption, operational KPIs, and ROI to continuously improve products and services.

Required Qualifications
  • A bachelors degree is required.
  • 8 years of relevant hands on IT experience with 3 years of people management experience.
  • Development exposure to modern integration and cloud architectures (Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, SF Agentforce, SF Data 360, Integrations).
  • Prior hands-on experience with Python, Mulesoft, Apigee, Informatica, App Omni, DevOps - Bitbucket, Jenkins, AI - Azure Foundry, Amazon Bedrock and/or Google Vertex.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior knowledge and experience in the life sciences industry is preferred.
  • Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities to improve products, processes, user experiences, and business outcomes.
