What to Expect

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Operations Manager - Americas and will work closely with the Vice President of Sales, Regional Managers, Network Development, Finance, Financial Services, Logistics, Aftersales and relevant Head Office functions (principally Commercial Operations , McLaren Special Operations, and Finance) . The role will take full responsibility for the sales planning and operations activities for the U.S., Canadian, and South American retail business . This is a critical position in the Americas team, responsible for managing the commercial business planning relationship with McLaren global operations and the respective implementation through the regional operations team and the dealer network.

What You'll Do

Interface with Global Head Quarters : Management of sales planning & performance reporting processes with the global operations team covering all aspects of sales management ( production allocation / orders / wholesale / retail / CPO / options & MSO / contribution) supporting monthly , quarterly, and annual planning.

Regional Steering : Management of sales planning & performance reporting processes with the field operations team covering all aspects of sales management ( production allocation / orders / wholesale / retail / CPO / o ptions & MSO / c ontribution ) supporting monthly , quarterly, and annual planning at sub-regional and dealer level .

Regional Financial Planning : Support the Regional financial team in both short- and long-term financial planning by providing car volume, revenue and net profit insights

Variable Bonus Process : Control of variable bonus assessment & reporting processes with field operations to ensure dealer compliance with required standards , guidelines, and dealer target achievement every quarter .

Sales Support Budget :
Strategic support , allocation, and steer ing of the overall regional sales support budget in alignment with regional and central Financial Services, Sales and Finance departments.

Dealer Meetings :
Co-ordination of internal executive meetings as well as regional dealer meetings.

Target Setting : Management of regional and sub-regional target setting & measurement through the quarterly scorecard process.

Performance Analytics : Quantitative support to US management, network development, and field operations for dealer performance reviews.

Data Analytics : Quantitative & qualitative analysis of market share performance and sales development opportunities in both represented and open territories across region.

Lead volume analysis and manage the communication between MTC & Regional team . Support for market analysis, dealer performance analysis and competitive information as required . Representation of Americas team at relevant meetings with global operations . Development of effective working relationships with global operations team through constant liaison / coordination & cooperation . Leadership of the Annual Dealer Business Planning process .

  • Proven experience in project management and influencing key stakeholders
  • Detailed knowledge of Automotive Dealer/Retailer operations and an understanding of Bodyshop Programmes would be advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working within dynamic and change-oriented teams
  • An understanding of the high net worth market and sensitivity to customer needs
  • Proactive mind-set that devises creative solutions to strategic and tactical business challenges
  • Ability to influence and engage at all levels in order to maximise Aftersales share of voice
