Position Title: Commercial Operations Lead
Reports to: Chief Customer Officer
Position Type: Full-time (Hybrid)
Location: Revision Skincare Corporate Office (Irving, TX)

Position Summary

The Commercial Operations Lead will directly support the company's efforts to attain revenue growth and profitability performance goals by enhancing the organization's effectiveness in evaluating new business opportunities on a per client, per project basis. The role will be primarily responsible for aggregating leads from various lead generation sources, gathering information through market research and other investigative practices, constructing financial models to assess prospective client and project potential, and providing data-driven recommendations that guide decisions toward alignment/adherence to the commercial strategy and direction. As such, this position will have overall responsibility for facilitating Revision's Client Engagement Process. This interactive discovery process, connecting internal technical and subject matter experts with prospective clients, serves as the basis for evaluating new business opportunities and provides a platform to familiarize prospective clients with services and solutions optimally-suited to meet their needs.

This individual will be in a highly visible role that reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer and collaborates with senior leaders across the organization. The ability to construct, inform, think, and execute are essential to the performance of this position. The ideal candidate is one that possesses an intellectual curiosity to identify, explore and solve ambiguous problems and demonstrates an initiative to propose new ideas and recommend solutions. This candidate will roll up their sleeves to dive deep in analyses and models, while also keeping the big picture and practicality in mind.

This position is based at Revision Skincare's corporate office located in Irving, TX. Revision Skincare has a hybrid work environment with a minimum of two days required in office, with Tuesdays being mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic and analytical business partner across all functions supporting the Client Engagement process
  • Oversee the Client Engagement process to ensure that new business opportunities pursued by the organization are aligned with the Commercial Strategy and are optimally suited to meet the objectives of the organization
  • Partner with Account Executives and contracted 3rd party lead sources to develop and maintain a system for aggregating and prioritizing new business opportunities
  • Provide operational support in assessing and assimilating data obtained through market research insights and prospective client portfolio evaluations to assist marketing and other technical functions in the creation of comprehensive project scopes of work
  • Lead the Business Qualification Review process, including preparation and presentation of recommendations related to new business opportunities for BQR committee consideration
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and R&D leadership to analyze and assess targeting and segmentation strategies, resource allocation, and performance at all levels
  • Create and maintain detailed financial and process models to support both short- and long-term strategic business planning for Revision's growth initiatives.
  • Develop relationships and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, including all current and prospective Revision clients to deliver a consistent and seamless Client Engagement experience


Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Required
  • Bachelor's degree required; degrees in Business, Finance or related fields preferred.


  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility - cosmetics or consumer packaged goods industries preferred
  • Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Must have strong written/verbal and communication and analytical skills.
  • Must demonstrate excellent business and personal ethics.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong Project Management skills including plan creation, risk mitigation and communication plans. Experience with New Product Phase Gate processes.
  • Technical exposure to R&D formulation
  • Ability to interface with personnel at various organizational levels and external suppliers.
  • Fully Supports an interdependent safety culture and works proactively to accomplish the safety mission in the plant of zero accidents.
  • Must thrive within a changing organization.
  • Proficient understanding of:
