Full Job Description
Ballard Spahr LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join its broad and expanding Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 5 years of litigation experience, either through a law firm or clerkship, as well as experience with commercial real estate loan defaults and workouts. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials are required. Our Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution group represents a wide range of local, national and international clients in all types of complex litigation and regularly appears in local, state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth in managing cases, drafting pleadings and briefs, discovery, and oral advocacy in a collegial team environment of a national law firm. Active bar license in Minnesota, or the ability to waive in, is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is from $230,000 to $260,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.

In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
