Job Summary:

The Commercial Lending Functional SME role will provide functional support to project deliverables, including liaising with business teams, driving implementation of functional responsibilities as part of planned project deliverables, and assisting across project obligations to add value throughout various stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a reliable, robust, and sustainable commercial lending platform by leveraging best practices adopted by other financial institutions.
• Provide expert functional input to the design of the lending solution.
• Collaborate with both business and technical teams to create and maintain documentation related to functional design.
• Write Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience working with a commercial lending platform (e.g., LoanIQ or similar).
• Provide guidance on core platform functionality including accruals, repayment schedules, ARR, general ledger entries, portfolios, lender shares, outstanding balances, events, collateral, document tracking, etc.
• Configuration and accounting mapping definition for the lending system.
• Support test planning and execution.
• Define and support migration strategy.
• Analyze specific issues and propose solution options to broader stakeholder groups for decision-making.
• Collaborate with migration leads to identify requirements and define mappings.
• Manage requirements in adherence to standards and governance to enable effective project management and delivery across large programs.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a wide-ranging audience.

The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:

• New York / New Jersey: $145k - $188k
• Non-/New York/ New jersey: $N/A - $N/A

Our hybrid work schedule is four days on-site and work remotely one day per week.
