Essential Duties and Responsibilities: {Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the functions listed below}
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment that uses gas, electric, and steam to include grills, ovens, freezers, etc.
- Keeps the customer and branch office updated on repair status and part requests to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Completes appropriate technical and manufacturing training/certification ongoing.
- Adheres company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Manages truck inventory and keeps service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Heritage standards of excellence.
- Willingness to work 40-hour weekly schedule and on-call nights and weekends as required
Qualifications: - Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
- Two years of relevant experience, education, or military experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
- Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
- CFESA Certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be highly safety-conscious.
- Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds).
- Requires frequent walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning.
- Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools.
