Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our growing service operations in the Dallas market. This role is ideal for a motivated technician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex mechanical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of commercial HVAC systems while ensuring customer satisfaction and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, heat pumps, package units, and related mechanical systems.
- Diagnose electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and control system issues.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate repair recommendations and system conditions to customers and management.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a professional manner.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Participate in occasional on-call rotations and overtime opportunities as needed.
QualificationsRequired- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
Preferred- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls.
- Experience servicing chillers, VAV systems, and advanced HVAC equipment.
- NATE Certification or additional technical certifications.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
