CommercialHVAC Service Manager to join our family and play an integral role in the growth of our service department. We are looking for a self-motivated team leader excited to work in a positive and encouraging atmosphere with excellent problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Provide strategic planning and management of HVAC service operations to maximize the efficiency of technicians and internal systems.
- Team Development: Lead the service department by assessing technician skills, identifying skill gaps, and implementing training and development programs to elevate team performance.
- Staff Management: Hire, evaluate, and mentor technicians; manage scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
- Quote Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of service quotes, including professional submission, client acceptance, and meticulous execution.
- Technical Support & Quality Control: Offer expert guidance on complex repairs and conduct functional testing to ensure work quality and code compliance.
- Customer Relationship Management: Address customer issues with Integrity and Communication, ensuring long-term satisfaction and relationship stability.
- Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, track job costs/profitability, and oversee the estimation of materials, equipment, and labor.
- Resource Management: Ensure parts and equipment are available; oversee inventory control and tool maintenance to maintain operational flow.
- Policy & Safety Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to company policies, safety standards, and local mechanical codes.
Required Experience and Qualifications:- 10+ years of Commercial HVAC experience, including gas piping, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- 3+ years of proven management experience with strong leadership and problem-solving skills rooted in Accountability.
- Proficient with primary functions of HVAC systems and associated mechanical tools.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret complex mechanical codes.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Products, dispatching software, and accounting tools.
- Capable of climbing ladders, using lift equipment, and lifting items up to 50lbs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a positive team attitude.
- Current driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Pass a national criminal background check.
- High School Diploma or GED
