Commercial Excellence Consultant to join our Career Talent Development Program - Chemours Leadership Lab (Learn. Apply. Become). This hybrid position will be available at our Wilmington Office in
Wilmington, DE.
Our Rotational Program was designed for ambitious career professionals seeking to build a strong foundation in commercial operations. Within our 3-year program, associates will rotate through multiple commercial departments, acquiring hands-on experience, interacting with senior leadership, and contributing to strategic projects. Areas of focus areas may include marketing, sales, product management, business development, technical service, and customer service.

The first rotation will be the Commercial Excellence Consultant which is a highly visible role focused on improving commercial execution through analytics, process discipline, and cross-functional coordination. This individual will help translate strategy into action by developing insights, supporting process improvements, maintaining critical commercial data, and enabling programs that improve revenue growth, pricing effectiveness, customer experience, and overall commercial performance. The Commercial Effectiveness Consultant partners with sales leadership and frontline teams to drive measurable improvements in sales productivity, process efficiency, and commercial performance. This role will provide expertise in commercial tools, diagnoses sales challenges, designs best-practice frameworks, and deliver training and coaching to ensure successful adoption of tools, processes, and methodologies that support business growth.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to gather requirements, streamline processes, and support execution of commercial initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinate project plans, meeting cadences, action items, and follow-ups for priority commercial excellence initiatives to help ensure on-time execution and stakeholder alignment.
- Build, maintain, and analyze commercial dashboards, KPIs, and reports that provide visibility to key commercial performance metrics such as sales performance, pipeline health, pricing realization, etc.
- Propose recommendations based on data-driven insight from commercial effectiveness metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales execution, customer experience, and business performance.
- Support the Commercial Excellence leader in preparing Commercial Board meetings by developing clear presentations, summaries, and communication materials that translate complex analyses into practical recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Advance Sales Effectiveness by diagnosing process, tools & performance gaps
- Design and implement sales effectiveness frameworks and playbooks
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs to enable execution of standardized commercial methodologies, best practices & tools.
The following is required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in a Commercial role (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations, etc)
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Track record implementing process improvements
- Experience facilitating training and leading initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and CoPilot and experience using reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI and CoPilot

Pay Range (in local currency):
$97,843.00 - $152,880.00

Annual Bonus Target:
8%
