A Note on Travel:This position involves regular nationwide travel to project sites. We make it work for you with company-paid lodging, a meal per diem on the road, and competitive mileage reimbursement.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead all phases of commercial construction, from early planning and scheduling through final completion.
- Coordinate daily with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain steady workflow and on-time material delivery.
- Direct and supervise crews, providing leadership, support, and accountability in the field.
- Perform routine inspections to verify progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Get ahead of problems and resolve them before they affect the schedule.
- Keep project records accurate and current, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
- Lead by example in building and enforcing a strong job site safety culture.
What You Bring:- 5+ years in commercial construction, including prior superintendent experience.
- Availability and willingness to travel to job sites nationwide.
- Strong layout skills on complex commercial projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and structural drawings.
- A solid history of managing and maintaining project schedules.
- Self-motivated, detail-driven, and committed to quality.
- Strong communication across clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Comfortable using technology and cloud-based reporting tools (training provided).
