Responsibilities

  • Complete periodic reviews using required formats for credit assessment.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of dealer performance with recommendations.
  • Complete tasks on the liquidation checklist following floorplan payoffs.
  • Review overline/aging accounts and collaborate with Sales for solutions.
  • Evaluate floorplan insurance policies for coverage and compliance.
  • Collect on audit exceptions and monitor duplicate financed vehicle reports.
  • Assist with other assigned tasks, including processing new credit requests.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Associate, Commercial Credit Analyst is required to operate as a self-contained credit unit within the Commercial Credit Department. The associates will perform and coordinate comprehensive credit, collateral and economic reviews of all financing proposals and exercises decision-making responsibility for coordinating the proper documenting of transactions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Complete periodic reviews in the required scheduled formats; CCAP, Risk Based Review or Automated Review.
  • Complete assigned dealer monthly reviews with recommendations to minimize the number of Watch List dealers.
  • Complete applicable tasks on the liquidation checklist after floorplan payoffs.
  • Review overline/aging and interface with Sales to determine causal factors and obtain plan to reduce.
  • Review floorplan insurance policies for proper coverage and compliance.
  • Collect on excessive audit exceptions (SIV/FIV), principal & interest payments (10th business day of month) and curtailments (last business day of the month). Monitor and follow-up on reported duplicate financed vehicles.
  • Participate in any other assigned duties as requested including processing new requests as needed.


Qualifications

  • 5 years of automotive finance credit analysis experience required. Knowledge of financial statements preferred
  • College Degree in Business or related field
  • This position will require the development of credit and financial skills in an analytically challenging environment.
  • Good time management, prioritization skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a high level of subject matter expertise in all areas supported.
  • Team oriented, strong interpersonal skills.
