Full Job Description
Entry-Level Project Manager, you will work closely with our senior consultants and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will play a key role in managing timelines, resources, and client communication, while developing a deep understanding of knowledge management and data strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch their project management career and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, executing, and closing projects related to knowledge management, taxonomy development, and data management
  • Collaborate with senior project managers and consultants to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, reporting on status and any risks or issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to facilitate smooth communication and workflow
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and status reports
  • Support the development of client presentations and reports
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in project management and knowledge management processes
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management tools and methodologies

Requirements

This hybrid role requires that you live within a comfortable commutable distance of our Arlington, VA office and that you are willing to be on-site 3 days a week.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Management, or a related field
  • Experience in project management or a related role (internships, co-ops, or coursework will be considered)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project) is a plus
  • A passion for learning about knowledge management, taxonomies, semantic technologies, and data management
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of knowledge management concepts, taxonomies, ontologies, and data structures
  • Interest in technology and consulting services
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is an advantage
Salary Information:

EK considers a broad range of factors in considering employee salary, including a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, past successes, and qualifications. The salary for this role is $85,000 annually.
