Position: College Instructor

Duration: Full Time Permanent Position

Job Location: 2-560, Baker Street, Nelson, BC, V1 L 4H9

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years as an instructor.

Number of openings: 1

Wage: $42.00 /hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:
• Preparation of teaching materials and outlines for courses.
• Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress.
• Guide and counsel students on program curricula and career decisions.
• Conduct or review course and program evaluation.
• Deliver lectures and presentations.
• Handling and operating of audio-visual equipment's.
• Provide training and supervise students in practical shop work session.
• Provide assistance to students with special needs.
• Teach students through various methods like lectures, discussions, audiovisual presentations and laboratory and field studies.
