Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) with 2-5 years of manufacturing process engineering experience.
• 3+ years of coating technology experience, specifically with thermal spray methods like HVOF and APS.
• Proficient in engineering software tools such as SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Robotmaster; familiarity with Fanuc programming is a plus.
• Strong skills in process and quality management, including SPC and continuous improvement techniques.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex manufacturing-related issues across multiple domains.
• Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills for process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize thermal spray coating processes for enhanced efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and robotics issues to tackle complex production challenges.
• Develop tooling and procedures to aid in coating fabrication and application.
• Conduct testing and experiments to validate process improvements and controls.
• Manage coating qualification projects to ensure they are completed on time and enhance throughput.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability aligns with quality specifications.
