Job Description:

As an Application Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our CNIC N6 IT Support team which provides system administration and development/maintenance support of Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC).

  • The Application Developer provides development, troubleshooting, and enhancement support for CNIC’s enterprise applications. This role supports .NET, BI, ETL, and SharePoint solutions, resolves Tier II/III issues, and assists with platform updates and modernization activities.

  • Support O&M development activities for CNIC applications across N‑Codes.

  • Perform .NET, BI, ETL, and SharePoint development for routine and ad‑hoc requests.

  • Provide Tier II/III troubleshooting for EIM and G2 applications.

  • Develop, test, and deploy bug fixes and enhancements for G2-hosted applications.

  • Support Facts & Figures and CNO 5x8 reporting enhancements.

  • Participate in QA/PROD deployments.

  • Support G2 platform initiatives including server upgrades, rollover projects, SPO migration support, and JBAB/Saratoga alignment.

  • Maintain documentation for changes, updates, and releases.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret clearance.

  • Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of application development experience

  • .NET Framework / .NET Core

  • ETL or BI components

  • SharePoint development or configuration

  • Application troubleshooting and Tier II/III support

  • QA/PROD deployments

  • Required Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT II compliant - Security+ CE

  • Education: BS Degree in Computer Science or IT discipline.

  • Location: Remote

  • US Citizenship required

WHAT WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

  • JavaScript and Java programming.

  • Experience supporting DoW or Navy enterprise systems

  • Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools

  • Experience working with ticketing systems and support centers

  • Experience with Agile development workflows

The likely salary range for this position is $129,813 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
