Help Win Complex Manufacturing Programs Across Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Mining, Transportation, and Industrial Markets

Are you a CNC machining expert who can quickly evaluate complex parts, develop manufacturing strategies, and build accurate cost estimates?

Acme Industries is seeking a CNC Quoting Engineer to develop competitive quotations for precision-machined components while providing advanced manufacturing engineering expertise. This role is ideal for a manufacturing professional with experience in precision machining environments, strong CAM capabilities, ERP proficiency, and the ability to translate technical requirements into accurate manufacturing costs.

You'll leverage machining knowledge, historical manufacturing data, ERP systems, CAM software, and engineering judgment to build winning quotes for customers across aerospace, defense, power generation, mining, transportation, energy, and industrial markets.

This is more than a quoting role. You'll be a key contributor in improving estimating processes, manufacturing databases, ERP utilization, digital tools, and future automation initiatives that support Acme's continued growth and competitiveness.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 annually

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
POSITION OVERVIEW

The CNC Quoting Engineer is responsible for developing fast, accurate, and competitive quotations for complex precision-machined components while providing advanced manufacturing engineering expertise.

The successful candidate will balance speed and technical accuracy by combining machining knowledge, CAM software, ERP data, historical manufacturing information, engineered assumptions, and best practices to generate reliable cycle times and cost estimates.

This role plays a critical part in supporting Acme's growth while helping improve the systems, templates, tools, and technologies used throughout the quoting and estimating process.
