Partner with clinical, research, administrative, product, architecture, and security stakeholders to ensure aligned priorities and transparent communication. Operate within an agile delivery model, including program increment planning and iterative sprint execution.

Strategic Planning and Cloud Modernization Contribute to enterprise-wide cloud and technology strategy, including hybrid multi-cloud direction and the Azure platform roadmap. Translate program goals into operational objectives and workflows. Support cost modeling, budgeting, resource planning, and delivery coordination for multi-million dollar Azure investments. Own Azure delivery input to enterprise modernization, AI enablement, and data platform programs.

Service Governance and Reporting Define and enforce standards for Azure service management, documentation, and performance reporting. Publish executive dashboards on a regular cadence. Collaborate with governance boards, audit, and executive sponsors to ensure service alignment and oversight. Manage audit readiness, remediation tracking, documentation accuracy, and customer satisfaction feedback loops. Maintain a published product catalog with clear owners, SLOs, and financial targets.

Azure Network, Security, and Resiliency Lead delivery of enterprise Azure network architecture, including hub-and-spoke design, next-generation firewalls, and network segmentation. Ensure Azure security hardening (CSPM, logging, remediation), consistent IAM strategy, and Zero Trust principles. Own Azure resiliency and BCDR posture, including enterprise backup coverage across IaaS, AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Files, Blob, Managed Disk, and Azure VMware Solution. Champion security awareness in partnership with enterprise information security.

FinOps, Cost Transparency, and Automation Partner with the FinOps function to deliver Azure cost transparency, chargebacks, dashboards, budget guardrails, tagging, and anomaly automation. Own management of Azure reserved instances with clear governance, forecasting, and variance discipline. Drive rightsizing and evaluate tooling for multi-cloud cost optimization with measurable ROI. Advance infrastructure as code (IaC) automation and golden path adoption in partnership with platform engineering.

Observability and Monitoring Establish Azure monitoring and observability standards, patterns, and SLA/SLO frameworks across infrastructure, application, and AI workloads. Leverage telemetry, adoption KPIs, and post-incident findings to inform tactical and strategic improvements.

Vendor and Partner Management Manage day-to-day operational relationships with Microsoft and other strategic cloud, security, backup, and automation partners. Support commercial negotiations, drive vendor accountability, and ensure contracted resources deliver measurable value.
