The Cloud Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of our SunCHECK SaaS offering, from deployment to support, managing a team of 24/7 DevOps personnel across multiple regions.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Monitor SunCHECK Cloud to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Manage the Dev Ops team to maintain 99% uptime for SunCHECK Cloud.
- Manage Production Deployments for new releases of SunCHECK Cloud and ensure operational fidelity.
- Own all support cases related to the SunCHECK Cloud and drive them to resolution.
- Oversee the operational aspects of new customer onboarding.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Deep understanding and familiarity of the many aspects of cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS) from deployment to operations
- At least 5 years of related professional experience managing large, multi-region rollouts in a 24x7 production system
- Accurate and rapid project scoping and estimating
- Strong communication, technical design/documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Metrics-focused mindset and the ability to assess trends as well as real-time data
- High-quality execution and strategic thinking
- Track record of successful, large-scale project management
