Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of infrastructure and platform migration activities to approved DoD cloud environments.
  • Conduct system assessments and mapping of dependencies to ensure a secure transition.
  • Analyze workloads and develop comprehensive migration plans for compute, storage, and network services.
  • Implement rehosting and replatforming strategies while maintaining security and identity integration.
  • Coordinate cutover planning, validation testing, and rollback procedures to minimize disruptions.
  • Optimize performance post-migration and ensure continuity of monitoring and data protection.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cloud security requirements, RMF controls, and STIG guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align migration activities with ARNG operational standards.


Required Qualifications

  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect-Enterprise Architect at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, GICSP
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization within DoD or Federal IT environments
  • Proven experience leading enterprise system migrations to DoD cloud environments
  • Expertise in workload assessment, dependency mapping, and migration planning
  • Experience in implementing rehosting and re-platforming strategies
  • Ability to ensure compliance with DoD cloud security standards and ARNG governance
