Overview: Arcadia is seeking an expert System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to support and enhance cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment focused on AI, ML, and data science technologies. Salary range: $200,000 - $215,000.

Description: The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative, cloud engineer to join in and contribute to a team environment. The candidate will be part of a team that supports the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires a knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure.

Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
• Experience patching and maintaining system databases, including RDS, MySQL, and Oracle.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Knowledge of federated identity, RBAC, authentication, and authorization solutions.
• Understanding of secure cloud configuration, including CloudTrail and AWS Config.
• Knowledge of cloud security technologies such as VPC, security groups, and IAM.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with security technologies such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, or endpoint security.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent related work experience.
• Demonstrated experience solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
• Experience using a scripting language.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, including installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing logs and event files, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and managing virtual infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
