• Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures integrating edge nodes and cloud environments.
• Architect solutions across multi-classification environments (TS/SCI, SECRET, UNCLASS), including cloud-based cross-domain considerations.
• Implement and optimize DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated security scanning).
• Ensure compliance with DoD cloud standards (ILs 4, 5 & 6+), Zero Trust, and RMF requirements.
• Support cloud deployments across environments such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, on-prem, tactical, and on-platform compute.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, distributed systems, or platform engineering
• Experience designing and deploying solutions in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud/edge computing architectures
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams with engineers, operators, and government stakeholders
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Experience supporting Navy warfighting concepts and associated capabilities
• Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and multi-level security architectures
• Experience with data streaming, event-driven architectures, and real-time analytics
• Experience working in DoD or IC environments, including RMF and security compliance
Education and Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required
• At least one Cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, etc.) is required
