ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Cloud Architect (Journeyman) to support the MODES III program supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). In this role, the selected candidate willbe responsible forsupporting the design, implementation, and sustainment of secure cloud architectures for MODES III systems in alignment with Government technical, security, and operational requirements. This position is remote and requires an activeTop Secretclearance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Cloud Architect. Responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and sustainment of secure cloud architectures for MODES III systems in alignment with Government technical, security, and operational requirements.
- Supports design and implementation of cloud architectures to host andoperateMODES III systems and servicesin accordance withGovernment standards.
- Assistswith development of cloud solutions that address scalability, availability, performance, and security requirements across cloud-hosted environments.
- Supports integration of cloud services, platforms, and components with existing systems and data sources to enable reliable operations and interoperability.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ActiveTop Secretclearancerequired.
- Education/Experience: 8 years related experience with a BS/BA or 6 years with MS/MA or 4 years with Phd or 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA
- Certifications: This role requires a demonstration of capability within the Cyberspace IT workforce. Successful applicants must satisfy Foundational Qualification standards via an approved industry certification (e.g., A+ or Network+) or documented equivalent military/educational training as defined in the DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty) or equivalent cloud certifications.
- Experience supporting large-scale government IT modernization programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- CompTIA Security+
Worklocation: remote with the ability to travel to the NCR if required
Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual27s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
