The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux admin to work with our dynamic team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud environments, an understanding of cloud services, and a strong Linux command line understanding.Looking for candidates with some variety of the skills listed below.
Responsibilities:
Workstation and Server support:
- Local Linux Desktop support
- Support local and remote “Cloud-in-a-box” infrastructure (Nutanix)
- Comfortable with hardware deployments and troubleshooting
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and Maintain cloud-based resources (AWS)
- IPA
- Puppet
- Documentation
Network support:
- Support troubleshooting efforts for our cloud base network infrastructure
- Support/troubleshoot local network issues
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP) – must have or willing to get within 1-2 months of starting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- +/- 7 years of experience in server/desktop Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
- Willingness to learn new technologies
Desired
- Knowledge of Puppet, IPA, and Kubernetes
- Experience or understanding of “Cloud-in-a-Box” Solutions
- Experience with Ansible and scripting

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,700 - 173,900 USD
