Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Senior Clinical Trials Systems Analyst is part of The Saban Research Institute's (TSRI) Clinical Research and Pre Award team, primarily responsible for supporting the CTMS software platform(s) (OnCore) with its integration and interface with CHLA's Electronic Health Record (HER) system (KIDS). The Analyst will provide high-level technical support to all end-users, including Principal Investigators (PIs) and the division/department, and will handle specific clinical trial and audit issues with integrity. The Analyst will assist end-users with CTMS functionality and utility. The Analyst will also be responsible for technical back end support in coordination with IT.
The Senior Clinical Trials Systems Analyst serves as a key liaison between research operations, study teams, Information Technology, and system vendors to ensure clinical research technology solutions effectively support compliant and efficient research activities across CHLA. This role is responsible for optimizing clinical research systems and workflows, translating operational requirements into technical solutions, supporting system enhancements and integrations, and promoting data quality and process standardization. The Analyst partners with stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, ensure alignment with institutional and regulatory requirements, and enhance the effective use of research technology platforms.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:- 5+ years relevant work experience in information systems administration, experience working with a Cerner HER and experience in a clinical research environment required.
Preferred:- Experience in an academic medical center, experience supporting an HER and experience working with a CTMS.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
Pay Scale Information $95,326.40-$127,088.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
