Responsibilities

  • Support the operational set-up, execution, and delivery of assigned clinical trials at the local level, ensuring milestones and KPIs are met efficiently.
  • Assist in clinical trial activities including patient and site engagement, communication with internal and external stakeholders, and trial team coordination at local and global levels.
  • Support planning, implementation, and tracking of clinical trial processes while contributing to risk mitigation strategies.
  • Help accelerate trial start-up by supporting regulatory requirements, site initiation, staffing, and drug supply management.
  • Oversee collection, transfer, and documentation of high-quality data ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to governmental regulations, ICH/GCP guidelines, and company SOPs, including Health Canada Division 5 requirements.
  • Support patient and site engagement strategies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovative practices within the trial team.
  • May contribute to non-trial projects as assigned, based on organizational needs.


Requirements

  • University degree or at least 5 years of professional experience in clinical trials management.
  • Proven track record in administrative management of clinical trials and cross-functional project work.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to operate effectively within complex matrix structures.
  • Operational expertise across all aspects of clinical trial planning and execution, including protocol management, site engagement, and vendor coordination.
  • Leadership skills to support, connect, and enable diverse trial teams; ability to address complex situations with innovative thinking.
  • Strategic mindset with results-oriented approach, embracing cross-functional initiatives and applying innovative learnings.
  • Excellent project management skills, including setting priorities, managing resources, translating complex situations into actionable steps, and proactively resolving challenges.
  • Digital proficiency to utilize technologies for communication, problem-solving, and data management.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements, including ICH-GCP and local guidelines, with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective cross-functional collaborations and relationships within and outside the organization.
