Description:

Clinical Triage Specialist - (RN) - Och Spine

As a Clinical Triage Specialist, you will serve as a central clinical resource, collaborating with multiple internal and external clinical and non-clinical departments.

In this role, you will be provided extensive training in spine care and patient access systems to prepare you for your role in identifying emergent conditions and facilitating appropriate scheduling of patients across multidisciplinary spine services.

We are seeking a driven and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Och Spine at New York-Presbyterian team as a Clinical Triage Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will work with spine providers from our Weill Cornell and Columbia University affiliates. As a Clinical Triage Specialist, you will serve as a central clinical resource, collaborating with multiple internal and external clinical and non-clinical departments.

Required Criteria
  • RN license
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Computer fluency, excellent phone communication skills are important as well as the ability to work independently without direct supervision.


Preferred Criteria
  • Healthcare operations experience
  • Previous experience working with customer relationship management tools
  • Effective in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills


Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Salary Range:

$116,500-$157,500/Annual
