Full Job Description
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services to patients including pharmacokinetic consultations, total parenteral nutrition consultations, antimicrobial stewardship, formulary management, and compliance with clinical pathways and protocols in addition to performing the duties of a staff pharmacist, including accurate interpretation, preparation, and dispensing of all medication orders so that the correct medication, in the correct dosage, gets to the correct patient via the correct route at the correct time. Also, the Clinical Staff Pharmacist functions will include clinical rounding and supervision of the technicians. The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will serve as a resource to other health care professionals through education and training programs.
