Clinical Specialist to support the sales efforts and enhance the productivity of the Endologix sales team by providing implanting customers with verbal technical assistance during Endologix stent graft implant procedures. This field-based role plays a critical part in ensuring optimal patient outcomes, promoting product adoption, and driving commercial success.
ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU'LL DO:Physician Support & Case Leadership:- Deliver expert, in-procedure technical guidance to physicians during AFX and ALTO EVAR cases, always prioritizing optimal patient outcomes and procedural excellence.
- Arrive early, fully prepared, and actively engaged in pre-case strategy discussions to ensure thoughtful planning and the best possible clinical results.
- Provide confident command and control in every procedural environment, taking smart, decisive action to ensure a seamless experience for physicians, staff, and patients.
- Identify appropriate patients and support case planning using imaging (CT, angio, etc.), applying sound clinical judgment, transparency, and a commitment to doing what's right for each patient.
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term clinical relationships grounded in credibility, professionalism, and consistent follow-through.
Territory Coverage & Responsiveness:- Provide dependable, high-quality support across the territory with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for case coverage.
- Respond to case requests promptly and reliably, earning a reputation as a highly trusted clinical partner to physicians and the commercial team.
Therapy Awareness & Education:- Partner closely with Sales Representatives to drive therapy adoption by expanding awareness and confidence in EVAR solutions through:
- Educational lunches and clinical in-services
- Staff and office training programs
- Coordinated regional therapy awareness activities
- Leverage clinical evidence, marketing tools, and innovative educational approaches to engage stakeholders and responsibly expand therapy utilization.
- Stay curious and adaptable, continuously identifying new ways to educate, support, and advance EVAR therapy in the field.
Clinical Expertise & Continuous Learning:- Maintain deep knowledge of device technology, procedural techniques, tools, and clinical data to support safe, effective patient care.
- Continuously advance expertise in aortic disease management and EVAR therapy, remaining current on evolving techniques, data, and best practices.
- Apply new insights and learnings to improve procedural execution and elevate clinical outcomes.
Operational Excellence:- Complete all administrative responsibilities accurately and on time, reflecting a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and transparency, including:
- Salesforce case documentation and calendar updates
- Inventory/MOVE usage
- Training and program requests
- Complaint reporting
- Expense reporting
- Enter all case details into Salesforce by close of business daily and respond promptly to email communications, consistently owning actions and follow-through.
Collaboration, Professionalism & Culture:- Communicate regularly and proactively with Sales Representatives and the Regional Sales Manager to align on territory strategy, case support, and workload priorities.
- Demonstrate a positive, solutions-oriented mindset, bringing energy, professionalism, and confidence to every interaction.
- Uphold and exemplify the Endologix culture of accountability, teamwork, innovation, and excellence-leading by example in both words and actions.
Other Duties:- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Approximately 50% travel required, with flexibility to support cases on short notice in pursuit of exceptional patient and customer outcomes.
QualificationsWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Education:- Bachelor's degree, technical degree, or comparable experience.
Experience:- 4+ years of clinical, medical device, or related experience.

The compensation package includes:
- Base salary of $115,000/yr-$130,000/yr + commission
- Equity participation as approved by Board of Directors (4-year vesting schedule)
