Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30am

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Social Worker II provides social work evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex psychosocial needs independently or with supervision as needed. Takes a leadership role in coordinating services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate patient care. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family-centered model of care.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2+ years' experience as a social worker in a medical setting with children, youth, and families.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation. Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW). Application process for CCS paneling will be completed within the first 90 days of hire. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification

Pay Scale Information

$96,408.00-$123,052.80

About Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
