As a Clinical Services Trainer, you will help ensure the quality and consistency of cardiac monitoring services by training and developing Analysis Technicians responsible for reviewing ECG data from Baxter's remote patient monitoring technologies. This is where you can make an impact by helping build a highly skilled clinical team that delivers accurate cardiac event reporting and supports positive patient outcomes.
You will partner closely with Clinical Services Trainers, Clinical Services Managers, Electrophysiology Mentors, and Clinical Quality leadership to onboard new technicians, support continuing education initiatives, and uphold ECG interpretation and reporting standards across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Deliver training programs for newly hired Analysis Technicians on ECG interpretation, cardiac event identification, and proprietary analysis software platforms.
- Support the transition of newly trained Analysis Technicians into on-the-job training with Electrophysiology Mentors (EPMs).
- Administer and evaluate competency assessments, qualification testing, and promotion-related evaluations for Analysis Technicians.
- Conduct virtual and in-person ECG interpretation assessments for external candidates to validate clinical qualifications and job readiness.
- Develop, update, and implement clinical training materials, educational content, and continuing education programs in partnership with Clinical Quality leadership.
- Review complex arrhythmias and cardiac events, providing guidance and confirmation of findings that meet notification criteria.
- Partner with Clinical Services Managers and Electrophysiology Mentors to provide targeted training, coaching, and performance improvement support for technicians.
- Assist with quality review activities by evaluating completed cardiac monitoring reports and providing feedback aligned with established reporting standards.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) or CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) certification.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Holter, Event, or Telemetry Technician.
- Advanced ECG interpretation experience, including identification of complex arrhythmias and cardiac events.
- Working knowledge of Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and physiology as it relates to cardiac monitoring and ECG reporting.
- Experience administering, documenting, or evaluating clinical workflows, reporting standards, or quality-related activities.
- Proficiency using computer systems, software applications, and electronic clinical documentation tools.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $80,000.00 to $110,000.00. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary rate may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
