Full Job Description
Clinical Project Manager to join a well-established clinical research organization supporting global drug development initiatives. This individual will be responsible for leading Phase I-III clinical trials , ensuring projects are executed efficiently, remain within budget, and meet all regulatory and sponsor requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Project Manager with CRO experience and a successful track record managing international studies. This is a direct-hire opportunity requiring a hybrid schedule in Raleigh (RTP), NC.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Project Manager:
  • Lead the management of Phase I-III clinical trials from study initiation through final closeout.
  • Act as the primary liaison between sponsors and internal teams throughout the duration of each project.
  • Direct cross-functional project teams to ensure timelines, milestones, and study objectives are successfully achieved.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and overall fiscal performance.
  • Support business development efforts, including participation in bid defenses and client presentations.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
  • Collaborate with global study teams, vendors, and operational groups to drive successful trial execution.
  • Ensure adherence to GCP, ICH guidelines, sponsor expectations, and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications of the Clinical Project Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Clinical Project Management experience within a CRO setting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Phase I-III clinical research studies.
  • Experience within therapeutic areas such as Oncology, CNS, Immunology, Cell & Gene Therapy, Rare Disease, or related fields.
  • Prior experience leading large-scale, global, multi-site clinical trials is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical operations, project management methodologies, and risk assessment.
  • Experience contributing to bid defenses and client-facing business development activities.
  • Proven ability to manage study budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
Compensation & Benefits of the Clinical Project Manager:
  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
