Job DescriptionThe Program Manager is responsible for coordination and support for critical region-wide clinical practice initiatives. This includes project management support for critical clinical standardization initiatives, strategic support and coordination for clinical services and quality councils. The position is accountable for directing initiatives related to clinical improvement and standardization, operational excellence, and resource management to advance clinical practice and care delivery improvement. In addition, responsibilities will include implementing project solutions and support for multiple clinical work teams, quality data analysis and interpretation and coordination of communications to and from the clinical groups.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree Relevant area of study Or equivalent educ/experience
- Within 1 year of hire PMI certification
- 4 years Experience in a similar role in a comparable or larger institution.
- Experienced in all areas of project management including multiple project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, staffing, communications, risk, and procurement and have experience in managing multiple related projects to achieve identified project portfolio objectives.
- Prior experience in an increasingly responsible, large, complex project management role(s) in comparable or larger institutions may be substituted for the educational requirement.
- Experience in financial business management and strategic development.
- Demonstrated track record and successful ability to work with upper management and key stakeholders in a collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated PC skills, i.e. proficient with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:- 3 years Experience in project management preferably within a healthcare setting.
