POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Central Team Leader and Manager for Clinical services, ensures optimum patient outcomes related to medication use by preventing or resolving drug-related problems and coordinating the acquisition, distribution and control of all drug therapy to patients under the care of the pharmacist.

Department: Inpatient Pharmacy

Schedule: Full Time, (40 Hours, Days/Evenings/Nights)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • PharmD degree (or Bachelor's plus 2 years hospital pharmacy experience)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Licensure to practice pharmacy by the hire date (or eligibility within 30 days of hire) in the state of Massachusetts.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills towards our customers (including patients, physicians and nurses) and fellow employees of the hospital.

Compensation Range:

$43.03- $62.50

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
