Role OverviewSodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian - Clinical Nutrition Manager to support PIH Health Hospital in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. This 408-bed acute care hospital serves a diverse patient population and includes specialized units such as NICU, Transitional Care, ICU, and more. This role offers the opportunity to lead clinical nutrition services in a fast-paced, high-impact environment while partnering closely with interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes.

What You'll Do- Oversee the Clinical Nutrition Program at PIH Good Samaritan Hospital, dedicating approximately 80% of time to program leadership and 20% as needed to direct patient care for the general patient population
- Partner closely with the Sodexo leadership team supporting PIH Health Hospital
- Provide leadership and oversight for 2.5 FTE Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and 6 diet office staff
- Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as the primary liaison to medical and nursing staff
- Actively participate in hospital committees and interdisciplinary initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team through training, coaching, and mentorship, while fostering engagement and accountability

What You Bring- A Registered Dietitian credential with acute care experience, including a minimum of two years as a Lead Dietitian or Clinical Nutrition Manager
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a self-directed, team-oriented environment
- A demonstrated passion for enhancing the patient experience and improving outcomes for the populations served
Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience: At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
