Overview

Plans, coordinates and directs day-to-day patient & clinical operations.  Assists in planning, coordinating and directing daily food service operations to ensure full compliance with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.  Serves as a clinical resource. Participates in hiring, orienting, and education of staff.  Establishes and maintains policies, standards and performance improvement programs for the provision of optimal patient care. Monitors clinical performance for safety, efficacy and evidence-based practice.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

  • Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • State specific dietitian license as required by State of practice.
  • Minimum 3-5 years as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Two years’ experience in the field of nutrition and/or food service management desirable.
  • Advanced specialty certificate in field of nutrition preferred.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
