Description:

Clinical Nurse Manager - RN - Postpartum - Full-time - Evenings

The Clinical Nurse Manager assumes first line leadership responsibility and accountability for managing the delivery of patient care on an assigned unit. Facilitates efficient and cost effective daily operations of the unit(s) in relation to patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Promotes a culture of safety and quality by ensuring continuity and consistency in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Patient Care Director, participates in the establishment of unit(s) short and long term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospital's overall strategic goals. Is accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements. Working off shift hours and providing weekend coverage are routinely required for this position.

This is a full-time evening shift (2PM-midnight) position at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist working from 10 hour shifts/4 days per week.

Preferred Criteria
  • Master's degree
  • Previous leadership experience or charge nurse experience

Salary Range:

$145,000-$168,000/Annual
