Clinical Nurse Manager (RN)- Labor & Delivery

This opportunity is full-time Clinical Nurse Manager day position offering full benefits.

Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida.

It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital, owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., a highly respected healthcare management organization.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BSN preferred.
  • Current Florida state nursing license.
  • Certification in area of specialty preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in acute care Women's Services specialty nursing. One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire) as required by specialty.

Role and Responsibilities:

Assumes responsibility and accountability for coordinating the activities and providing clinical and administrative leadership and expertise in one or more defined areas of the facility. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates staff in obtaining safe, optimal health care outcomes. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Understands that patient-centered care provides the foundation for all nursing activities. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
